1. Information We Collect

When you use MilestoneScribe, we collect the form inputs you provide — such as the retiree's name, your relationship to them, shared memories, career achievements, and tone preferences — in order to generate your tribute. We do not collect payment information directly; payment details are entered and processed exclusively through Paddle, our Merchant of Record. The email address you provide at checkout is used solely to deliver your generated content and to respond to support inquiries.

2. How We Use Your Information

Form data you submit is used solely for the purpose of generating your tribute. Your inputs are transmitted to Anthropic's Claude API to produce the content you requested. We do not use your personal information for marketing, profiling, or any purpose beyond fulfilling your order and providing support. We do not store form data after your tribute has been generated and delivered to you.

3. Data Sharing

We share data only with the third-party services necessary to operate MilestoneScribe:

  • Paddle — payment processing and Merchant of Record services
  • Anthropic — AI content generation via the Claude API
  • Resend — transactional email delivery
  • Upstash — session state management via Redis

We do not sell, rent, or trade your personal information to any third party for any purpose.

4. Data Retention

Form content submitted for tribute generation is not retained by MilestoneScribe after generation and delivery are complete. Session tokens used to manage your access to the form are stored temporarily in Redis via Upstash and automatically expire after a short window. Email addresses are retained only as long as necessary to support delivery and handle any related support requests, after which they are deleted.

You have the right to request access to, correction of, or deletion of any personal data we hold about you. To exercise any of these rights, please contact us at hello@milestonescribe.com. We will respond to all requests within a reasonable timeframe and in accordance with applicable data protection law.

6. Cookies

MilestoneScribe does not use tracking cookies, advertising cookies, or analytics cookies. Session functionality may rely on essential cookies or browser storage mechanisms necessary for the service to operate correctly. These are not used to track you across other websites.
