1. Acceptance of Terms
By accessing or using MilestoneScribe (milestonescribe.com), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree to these terms in their entirety, you may not use this service. Your continued use of the service constitutes your acceptance of any updates to these terms.
2. Description of Service
MilestoneScribe provides AI-assisted retirement speech, tribute letter, and LinkedIn post generation. You submit a form with details about the retiree, and the service produces personalized written content using artificial intelligence. All content is delivered electronically as plain text for your personal review and use. MilestoneScribe is a writing-assistance tool — it does not provide legal, professional, or advisory services of any kind.
3. AI-Generated Content Disclaimer
Content generated through MilestoneScribe is produced by Claude, an AI system developed by Anthropic. While we strive to produce high-quality, meaningful tributes, MilestoneScribe does not guarantee the accuracy, completeness, appropriateness, or fitness of any generated content for any specific purpose or occasion. AI-generated content may occasionally contain errors, inconsistencies, or unintended phrasing. You are solely responsible for reviewing all content before sharing or delivering it publicly. MilestoneScribe is not liable for any consequences — personal, professional, or otherwise — arising from the use of content generated through this service.
4. Payment and Delivery
Payments are processed by Paddle, our Merchant of Record. Paddle is responsible for collecting payment, handling taxes, and issuing receipts. You receive access to the tribute generation form immediately after a successful payment. Content is generated upon form submission and delivered electronically. MilestoneScribe does not offer physical delivery of any kind. If you do not receive access after payment, please contact us at hello@milestonescribe.com.
5. One-Time Use
Each payment entitles you to a single tribute generation. Once your tribute has been generated, the associated session or access link cannot be reused to generate additional content. If you experience a technical issue that prevented generation from completing successfully, please contact us at hello@milestonescribe.com within 14 days of purchase and we will make it right.
6. Intellectual Property
Content generated for you using your submitted inputs belongs to you. You are free to use, adapt, deliver, and share it for personal and professional purposes without restriction. MilestoneScribe retains no ownership rights over the content produced from your form submission. The MilestoneScribe name, logo, website design, and underlying software remain the intellectual property of the service operator and may not be reproduced or used without permission.
7. Prohibited Uses
You may not use MilestoneScribe to generate content that is defamatory, harassing, hateful, discriminatory, or harmful to any individual or group. You may not attempt to reverse-engineer, scrape, or systematically extract content from this service. You may not resell or sublicense generated content as a writing or AI service to third parties. Violation of these restrictions may result in termination of access without refund.
8. Limitation of Liability
To the fullest extent permitted by applicable law, MilestoneScribe shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising out of or related to your use of the service, even if we have been advised of the possibility of such damages. In all cases, our maximum aggregate liability to you is limited to the amount you paid for the specific service transaction giving rise to the claim.
9. Governing Law
These Terms of Service are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the jurisdiction in which the service operator is domiciled, without regard to conflict of law provisions. Any disputes arising under these terms shall be resolved in the courts of that jurisdiction, and you consent to personal jurisdiction therein.
